We Need To Talk About Emma…
Don’t say I didn’t warn you, because I totally did. Emma Watson has been capital F FLAWLESS recently, and her recent appearance at Paris Haute Couture Week drove it to the forefront. Girl has always had super cute style, but I feel like she’s really come into her own as of late. Let’s not forget, Emma’s been walking red carpets since she was 8 years old so there was plenty of time for improvement.
Over the past few years, although I want to say since she starred in “The Bling Ring,” Emma has been a red carpet darling who everyone is taking notice of. It only made sense that after going gaga over her red carpet style in Paris that I stay true to my word and dedicate a post to her evolving style.
I mentioned this before and I’ll mention it again. I LOVE THIS. It’s such a fashion risk that normally wouldn’t pan out for most people, but I think she looks so awesome wearing it. I noticed after the Golden Globes that fashion reporters were pretty torn on it…it’s not an outfit you can just “like.” I remain firmly in team pants.
Taking a break from Dior to rock another famous Parisian brand, Watson looks awesome in this Chanel dress. I love that it’s still so youthful, despite the heavy tweed fabric. I’m also a huge fan of the dramatic makeup, particularly the red lips. Tweed can make you look preppy, but she makes it so edgy. And I want those peeptoe pumps.
Say anything bad about this dress and I will fight you with the North. Not really, but I love it so much. This is the most princessy we’ve ever seen Watson, and it makes sense because this was at the premiere of the last Harry Potter film. This was her last time to show Hermoine Granger’s got style game, and I think she pulled it off flawlessly.
I’ve talked at length about how much I love sheer illusion dresses, and this Christopher Kane she wore a few years back is no exception. It can be a risk for someone so pale to wear sheer, white fabric (I should know), but I think she looks so beautiful. Also – is it just me or does she always bring it all together with her awesome shoe game?
File this under “outfit I’m most likely to wear myself.” I love everything about this outfit. The shoes, the hair, the sparkle, the smokey eye! All of it is amazeballs. It’s no surprise she showed up wearing this outfit at the Burberry show, given her stint as a Burberry model, but I think she pulled it off better than anyone on the runway ever could.
Are you style crushing on Emma as much as I am?
