We Need To Talk About Rose…

I am loving the excuse to write about some of my favorite celebrities for no other reason other than they have awesome fashion sense. I guess it’s not that hard to believe that I get to do this, considering it’s my blog (halvesies) and I can do what I want to. Anyway, moving on. Though she typically flies under the radar lately, she exploded onto the scene thanks to her turn as Kristen Wiig’s nemesis in “Bridesmaids.” That movie gets better with time, I’m telling you. Anyway, I’m talking about Rose Byrne. The girl has awesome fashion sense and I totally loved the carefree look she wore recently to celebrate her Broadway debut.

At first, I wasn’t that into the idea of slouchy trousers, but they’ve been growing on me recently and I definitely love them for this outfit. It’s super casual but not sloppily so. I totally plan to incorporate similar outfits in my fall work wardrobe. It’s totally appropriate for the office, but not exactly friendly for the high humidity we’ve been having. The only bug? The black shoes with the navy outfit, but it’s always been a pet peeve of mine.

Sure, the hair is a little messed up, but this Emilio Pucci dress is gorgeous. This is the perfect dress to wear to a film career when you’re not the lead. It’s really cute and fun, but it somehow despite being a lace dress it’s not too fussy. I think the short hemline helps, and the fact that it’s sheer on the sides. It’s all capped off with those gorgeous shoes, which I’m 90% sure are St. Laurent.

Remind me when I get abs that I need to try and wear something like this. Actually, don’t, it still won’t be as good. But yeezus if anyone had a body half as good as this then it’d be completely understandable as to why they would choose to wear this kind of ensemble. Also – double points for daring to wear it to the Emmys. Pretty ballsy in a sea of giant ball gowns.

Need an idea for a fall cocktail dress? I’ve got it for you right here in this Lanvin frock. I’m pretty convinced these are the same shoes she wore in the first image (when I had a problem because they didn’t match), and they work so much better with this dress. I also love that she didn’t go heavy on the makeup due to the deep hues of the dress.

YASSSSS, GIRL, YASSSSS. This is my favorite dress. While the dress is amazing in itself, I think it’s only highlighted by the awesome hair and makeup. She’s seriously never looked better. Anyway, this dress she wore to a Glamour Magazine event looks as though it was perfectly tailored to her body. I’m usually not a fan of dresses that hit below the knee, but this one works too well to fault.

What do you think? Are you as big of a fan of Rose’s style as I am?
